How much is enough?
Having the ability to swim around the back yard pool or walk out into the ocean or play in knee deep water doesn't necessarily mean a child is a strong enough swimmer to cope with unfamiliar depths or stressful situations.
Swimming skills can deteriorate rapidly when not swimming regularly, when a child is in a stressful situation or in an unfamiliar area.
The more skills the child has to start with the greater chance of survival!
Do you know if your child has retained enough skills to save themself?
If you are in doubt then book them in for a holiday booster block to regain those skills
